Wholesale datasets
Cleared energy and reserve offers are extracted from final pricing SPD case files.
The megawatts cleared by SPD for energy, FIR (fast instantaneous or 6-second reserves) and SIR (sustained instantaneous or 60-second reserves) are published by participant code, offer type, point of connection and unit. The absence of a unit implies the reserves are interruptible load. There are five offer types: energy offer (ENOF), dispatchable load (ENDL), interruptible load reserve offer (ILRO), partially-loaded spinning reserve offer (PLRO), and tail-water depressed reserve offer (TWRO).
The _F suffix in the file name denotes that the SPD case file is associated with final prices. See here for the explanation of why the file name might include an 'x' immediately before the suffix.
Files stopped being added to this location on 1 November 2022 with the advent of real-time pricing.
